A Monthly Film Screening Experience
For the Love of Film Series
Trinity Films Entertainment Group in collaboration with The LOVE Building Inc. presents For the Love of Film Series — an evening dedicated to celebrating independent filmmaking, emerging voices, and stories rooted in culture, identity, and lived experience. This first installment of the series brings together a selection of short films that explore themes of heritage, community, and self-expression through powerful visual storytelling.
Throughout the evening, audiences will experience a curated program of films from visionary directors whose work highlights the beauty, complexity, and resilience within Black communities and beyond. From experimental and performative storytelling to intimate character moments and historical reflection, each film invites viewers into a different perspective while contributing to a shared cinematic conversation.
More than a screening, For the Love of Film is a space to gather, witness, and engage with film as a living art form — one that connects communities, preserves stories, and inspires new creative possibilities.

Please help us maintain a space that is as scent-free as possible for members of our community who become sick when exposed to chemical fragrances. If you are coming to work at the LOVE Building or to attend an event, please avoid using shampoo, cologne, detergent, fabric softener, etc. that is scented. Read more from Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha about why going scent-free is an act of love for disabled communities.
