Please join us for the reception of “Sanctuary,” a group exhibition by twenty local artists. The exhibition runs from September 6 to October 5, 2025.

Exhibition Statement:
We are purveyors of time, writing our memories into the stars. Through storytelling we uncover mysteries buried deep within our bodies and the land. Pulling up vines in the backyard to uncover stones, round and cold as the moon. Our stories are not the same, but they are woven together through the land & waters that bind us, homes that cradle us, and bodies that carry us forward. When these sacred spaces come under attack, we are made vulnerable – through chemical contamination, forced displacement, colonization, gentrification, and war. But in this paradigm shift we are learning to adapt and survive through legacies of resistance, interdependency, and ancestral knowledge. Walking through landscapes on the verge of collapse and renewal, we reclaim sanctuary in our homes, our bodies, and in the ground below.
