Join us for Minding the Gaps: Detroiters Speak on Transit Justice beginning February 12, 2026, as a six-session Thursday series running February 12, 19, 26 and March 12, 19, 26 at Various locations throughout Detroit, including the Love Building for Session 3, Detroit, MI 00000, United States. Presented by Semester in Detroit in partnership with leading local advocates, this multi-session series invites Detroiters to explore the city’s relationship to local and regional transit long before it became the Motor City and examine where it is headed next. Across six sessions, participants will engage with topics including accessibility, affordability, service improvements, environmental impact, funding and policy, labor and workers’ rights, safety, and urban and rural planning, centering community voices and lived experiences in the fight for transit justice.
