In its first Detroit edition, this Black August gathering—organized by Sojourners for Justice Press and Midnight Care Collective—centers Black publishing as protest and survival, with zine exhibitors, DJ sets, local artists, a community zinestand, and a workshop on Risograph printing for Black creators.
