Tématé Institute for Black Dance and Culture is excited to invite you to apply for our Summer Youth Program. This is a paid DANCE employment and training opportunity through Heritage Works and Grow Detroit’s Young Talent (GDYT), for those interested in arts, culture, and creative leadership.

Our summer program will give you hands-on experience in both creative expression and professional development. We will facilitate discussions and workshops to deepen your understanding of African and Afro-diasporic traditions while building leadership, collaboration, and communication skills. If you don’t know what the diaspora is, we will show you. Whether you are drawn to performance or production, or both, this program is designed to help you grow in your art. Apply today!
