Join us for a special LOVE @ Nite: Anniversary Edition on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM as we celebrate 3 years of The LOVE Building. This month’s gathering honors the legacy, creativity, collaboration, and community that have made 4731 Grand River a home for artists, entrepreneurs, creatives, and neighbors.

The evening begins at 5:00 PM with a Tenant Partner-Wide Open House, inviting guests to explore The LOVE Building through self-guided tours and visit the organizations that call the building home. Meet tenant partner staff, learn about their work and impact, and hear what they’re looking forward to in the year ahead. This will be the evening’s only opportunity for building tours.

Guests will also experience the opening reception for An Ode to 4731, a group exhibition honoring The LOVE Building’s legacy and the people who have helped shape its story.

Throughout the night, DJ Sheezy Bo Beezy will set the soundtrack for an evening filled with music, movement, and connection. Live programming will include the Manila Bay Showcase, featuring poets, comedians, and belly dancers, along with activations and performances from our CONTAINER Season 2 residents.

Come hungry and enjoy food from YumVillage, Ice Cream Detroit, and Shell Shock’d Tacos as we gather to celebrate three years of The LOVE Building and the community that continues to bring it to life.

Whether you’ve been with us since day one or you’re stepping through our doors for the first time, LOVE @ Nite: Anniversary Edition is an invitation to experience the creativity, collaboration, and love that make The LOVE Building special.

The closest bus stop to The LOVE Building is located at Grand River and Hanock, accessible via the #3 Grand River Bus route. This convenient transportation option facilitates easy access to the venue for attendees relying on public transit.

CAR & BIKE Parking

For those arriving by car or bicycle, The Love Building offers various parking options to accommodate different needs.

• Bike Parking: Cyclists can utilize bike parking available along Grand River Ave and on both the North and South sides of the building.

• Car Parking: Limited visitor car parking is accessible in the lots off Grand River Avenue and 15th Streets. The venue offers thirty designated parking spots onsite, strategically located near the entrance for convenient access. Among these spots are three designated accessible parking spots to accommodate individuals with mobility disabilities. Additionally, two EV plugin parking spots are available, catering to electric vehicle owners. Moreover, 25 standard parking spots are provided to ensure ample parking capacity for event attendees.
