Join us for Detroit Youth Speak: AI + The Future on June 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Michigan Engineering Zone, 3663 Woodward Avenue, Suite #100, Detroit, MI 48201, United States. This free public showcase features original research from eleven Detroit-area students exploring artificial intelligence, data, and technology justice through presentations, videos, workshops, a zine, a card game, and other creative formats. Students from Cass Tech, Central, Renaissance, MLK, Farmington, and Eton Academy will share their work on topics including algorithmic bias, data collection in marginalized communities, AI’s impact on learning, and the environmental costs of data centers. Doors open at 10:00 AM, with the program running from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Presented by CS for Detroit with support from the Kapor Foundation, this community event invites attendees to hear directly from young people shaping important conversations about the future of technology.
