Join us for the Detroit People’s Tribunal on June 27, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at St. Matthew’s & St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church, 8850 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48202, United States. This community gathering will provide a space for residents, organizers, workers, youth, and advocates to hear firsthand accounts from people impacted by immigration enforcement and to discuss ongoing efforts to support immigrant communities in Metro Detroit.

Drawing on the tradition of public tribunals used by social movements to document injustices and elevate community testimony, the event will feature stories from individuals and families affected by immigration enforcement, along with discussions about local organizing efforts and advocacy campaigns. Participants will explore the impact of immigration policies on Detroit communities and examine ways residents can support efforts for accountability, protection, and community-centered solutions.

The Detroit People’s Tribunal aims to create a public forum for education, reflection, and collective action while strengthening connections among community members committed to immigrant rights, dignity, and justice. All are welcome to attend, listen, learn, and engage in the conversation.
